Just because they have the same name as a MLBer, doesn't mean they are any good Laughing

There are several difficult sign-type players that the Dbacks have taken and there are also varying degrees of difficult in signing these. Having taking what most of these guys have been saying and what the consensus believe of what they will do is, i would group them in the following two categories.

Difficult sign and Likely headed to college

Ty Linton
Kevin Ziomek
Matt Roberts
Roberto Padilla
Konner Wade

Difficult sign but Likely to sign

Blake Perry
Tyler Greene
Adam Eaton (This could be a steal in the 19th if we sign him)

Good signing imho. The guy missed some of last year but once fit he is a plus runner, above-average defender and very good power for somebody his size. His hitting has gotten better and better so all in all i would consider getting him in the 19th a coup.

I think Keystone is a college but yeah i know what you mean that scout must've some influence to get three players drafted from the same school.

Good to see one shitty team getting things done. Rolling Eyes

The Astros signed three more draft picks today. They've now signed 19 of their selections, including 11 of the 22 players they drafted in the first 20 rounds.

I goota feeling the D'backs have signed quite a few of their picks already, they just haven't made it public knowledge yet.

I would guess there will be a press release soon announcing a bunch of signings.

I like some of the scouting reports ive read on this guy so it would be nice if we can get him to sign. In terms of how the draft works It does seem a little odd that the Dbacks were less interested in him than the Cardinals and Padres only for the Dbacks to select him.

Although I haven't seen any confirmation of this in the local paper, it does sound like a done deal...so we'll go with it
