From KTAR website.

"The team has transformed into this high strikeout team that looks like they lack energy. We need to change that and infuse it with a little bit of grittiness and energy," said Hall.

Hell no need to make anymore trades. If they want gritty and energy its already on the payroll and is playing softball over in Half Moon Bay Cali. Wink

At least, when it came to negotiating with Moorad... There, he was a Master of the craft...

Translation: we think we punted on the decade by trading Haren, so we are going to sell "hustle" and "heart" to make the next 5 years of 60 win teams palatable which we slash parole to bottom three in the MLB.

Is that one spelling mistake we see? By fatleprechaun's estimations you must be about 12 years old....

Or maybe it was a Rick Vaughn reference?

Likely two more trades coming for Dbacks -- C. Snyder to either Pittsburgh or Toronto and Chad Qualls to Colorado, NYY or one other AL team via Gambo

Couple tweets from Gambo:

Gambo620 Likely two more trades coming for Dbacks -- C. Snyder to either Pittsburgh or Toronto and Chad Qualls to Colorado, NYY or one other AL team

Gambo620 Unless blown away by an offer the Dbacks now plan on keeping 2b Kelly Johnson and not trading him despite solid interest in him.

Won't really miss either of them. The only thing I'm worried about is another Montero Injury and having John Hester be the Starting Catcher. Trade Qualls first and save Snyder for the end of the season and try to pick up a veteran catcher for cheap.

via JackMagruder: #Dbacks, after clearing money in Jackson/Haren deals, will "definitely" pursue a closer over the winter.

via Gambo Toronto could ship C Jose Molina to AZ in any deal involving C Snyder. Apparently Toronto would take Snyder's salary but wants 2b K Johnson

Why? We don't need a closer to lose 100 games.

If they want Kelly Johnson, no deal

I think this is a bit obvious, as well as premature. We don't know who the GM is, unless DiPoto has been told that the interim tag will be taken off after the season is over.

Didn't O'Dowd say he was selling? Why would the Rockies want Qualls?
Trying to get a better pick next year?

Didn't we all ready pick up future closers in Demel and that guy in the Haren deal?

Also, we better not spend a bunch of money on a closer.
There's nothing I would hate more than halfassing a rebuild.

I dont get the point of that at all.

Toronto wants the best defensive catcher in all of baseball and a great 2B for shit in return. Sounds like a pipe dream that hopefully we won't fall for.

Demel, maybe. But he'll probably be our future set up man.
But that guy in the Haren deal... he isn't good. He's 25, in AAA, and it's not exactly tough to get on that Angels pitching staff...

How are we going to acquire the best defensive catcher to flip to Toronto?

So Snyder's .999% Fielding Percentage doesn't equal good defense?
