His ERA right now is just below 5. Add in the DBack adjustment and it will probably be 500 after a few starts for this team.

A change of scenery might be nice for Willis too, it is also a plus that he WANTS to play with us.

He said that he was house hunting with his wife before all this started, so future valley resident. Josh Byrnes ofcourse is interested, how could he not be; the requisites for Byrnes are:
- Must be a Valley Resident
- Must have two arms, capable of throwing baseballs
- No control required
- No experience required

If you qualify for any of those points please contact the Arizona Diamondbacks Front Office as you might find yourself in the Bullpen later on.

The no experience required is also a plus for being manager

Jim Abbot is only 43 and I'd take him over some of our pen. We also wouldn't have to worry about fatigue since he hasn't pitched since 1999.

If it's some dude we don't like going the other way, then I can live with that, so long as he doesn't have any sort of upside and doesn't reinvent himself immediately after.

According to mlbtraderumors.com it's done...pending physicals. It doesn't say who the DBacks are sending to Detroit.

Can we send Hinch and kill two birds with one stone?

Jim Leyland's eyesight is apparently suspect so we could convince him that its Haren with a haircut and shave. Im thinking Leyland will look at the name on the back of the jersey and as soon as he sees the H will be satisfied its Haren.

So will the D-Train come out of the 'pen, or will he be in the starting rotation?

I don't know if we can take any more games from Buckner on the hill.

I'm willing to bet Willis will be starting in Buckner's place from here on out (or until he gets cut, whichever comes first).

So you're saying Webb's status is in a state of flux?
