New York Post this morning wrote:
Moving crews yesterday descended on the family's Florida manse, where Tiger Woods' furious wife, Elin Nordegren, has been living since their infamous battle, and a source close to the golfer's camp told The Post, "She's making plans to move out and take the kids with her.

The kids "are doing fine," insisted the shattered Elin -- who wasn't wearing her wedding ring -- to OK! magazine.

Nordegren wasn't faring as well. "She looks bone-thin," a source said.

There might be a reason to smile soon, however. Nordegren is in "internal discussions" with Puma to become its spokesperson for the Swedish-inspired clothing line Tretorn, TMZ reported today.

Puma just happens to be the arch-enemy of Nike -- Tiger's big sponsor.

Adding to Nordegren's stress might be a new claim by several of Woods' mistresses that he had been routinely shelling out thousands of dollars to keep them quiet about his steamy sexual peccadilloes.

The billionaire golfer would typically wire his stable of buxom women $5,000 to $10,000 apiece each month -- although one may have landed up to $20,000, MSNBC reported on its Web site.

"The money comes via a wire transfer," one of the alleged ex-mistresses said. "There's no contract about it. There's no discussion about what it's for. But it's implied that it's in exchange for keeping quiet about his affair."

She said Woods tried to keep close tabs on her after the dust-up with his wife over Thanksgiving weekend at their home. Nordegren allegedly attacked her husband's SUV with a golf club, causing him to crash, after learning of his affairs. The debacle wound up exposing his secret life as a serial philanderer.

"Elin took his cellphone away [after the fight], so he had to call [me] from his land line at home," the woman said. "He hasn't called in at least a week, though."

Woods' pal, former NBA star Charles Barkley, said, "I've been trying to reach him and can't get him. It's very frustrating."

your bed tiger lie in it....

i wish people would leave his wife and kids alone, no one needs to ask her how she and the kids are doing... your not family, not a friend. you are not asking to help her if she needs help...

she and the kids have enough to deal with without the reporters...

how do you think she and the kids are.... leave them be....

let him and him alone deal with this in the media, let the wife and kids part be dealt inside the closed doors of the home.

i know they work hand in hand, but let tiger having to answer the family questions....

David Wharton / Los Angeles Times today wrote:
The list of corporate sponsors who have abandoned Tiger Woods grew a little longer Thursday as AT&T announced it has ended its agreement with the golfer.

The telecommunications giant issued a brief statement, saying "[we] wish him well in the future."

Woods had carried the AT&T logo on his bag and had acted as the official host of the AT&T National PGA Tour event. His image and name still appeared on the tournament's website Thursday.

AT&T had previously said it was re-evaluating its relationship with him, but now joins Accenture, a global consulting firm, in cutting ties entirely.

Others, such as Gillette and Tag Heuer, have backed off on using advertisements that feature Woods.

Golf Digest has suspended his monthly instructional articles and Gatorade carried through with an earlier decision to discontinue his signature sports drink.

Tiger Woods - who hasn't been seen since his sex scandal - is assisting in the rescue and relief effort in Haiti, which was hit by a 7.0 earthquake Tuesday.

So says hip-hop mogul Russell Simmons.

Look back at famous sports scandals

On Thursday, he Twittered: "Tiger Woods is doing something AMAZING!!!! I heard [he's] donating to send a cargo plane with a mobile hospital out there. Keep ur prayers high!"

He told the New York Daily News that Woods' donation - which would total $3 million - would include having "50 EMTs to go set up a triage. I am just asking for his heart and his band. Just to meet the needs of the people."

Now this is great Marketing. Laughing

Over at Torey Pines yesterday.

An airplane towing a banner across a cloudless sky saying, “Tiger We Miss You.” It was paid for and signed by a local striptease club.

[Wood's agent, Mark] Steinberg said no questions would be allowed at the meeting.

Is everyone excited about Tiger's statement?!!

Rolling Eyes

Here's how it will probably go.

1. I apologize to my fans, and most importantly, my family... yada yada yada (he may actually say yada yada yada).
2. Please respect my family's privacy.
3. To the media, go screw yourselves.
4. I will play my first tournament _______.
5. I will not talk to the media.
6. Yada yada yada.

Step 9 by press conference. Doesn't seem quite right.

"I'd like to apologize to everyone."
"Thank you."

Might as well sell copies to collectors to pay for the rehab.

Here I thought 12 step programs success was based on honesty.

All he had to do was deflect the blame off his wife by saying, "My wife is not to blame. It is entirely my fault for what happened at our home. I take full responsibility for all of it."

Accomplishes the same thing without lying.

They showed the video tape taken from the security cameras the other night. It showed his wife charging after him across the lawn with a golf club raised.

Years ago men coming home late at night with lipstick on their collar would get chased out of the house by wives wielding wooden rolling pins.
His wife's reaction was pretty consistent with history. I find no fault with what she did.
