Do you have any stats on that?
And isn't this the guy that claimed racism everywhere he went?

And if you two are being sarcastic, I'm sorry. It's easier to tell when it has a Wink in it. I find it difficult to pick it up over the internet.

Embarassed Embarassed Embarassed

I have a really good sarcasm detector in real life, but I guess it doesn't really transfer onto the internet. Or maybe I just didn't get the joke. Oh well... I guess I'll just have to deal with missing everything.

Its ok. For the first year here I had to write "SARCASM!" in pretty much every post I made. It was a bit annoying. I used to use Rolling Eyes to designate I was being sarcastic...until a certain person called me out on it. Then I stopped.

(from Rotoworld)

Jerry Crasnick of ESPN.com reports that the Diamondbacks and Rockies are interested in right-hander Derrick Turnbow.

Turnbow is expected to sign rather quickly. The 31-year-old right-hander hasn't appeared in the majors since 2008, when he posted an ugly 15.63 ERA in eight appearances with the Brewers. The Rockies have reportedly been the most aggressive in their interest.

Now that I think of it, I guess it doesnt really matter whether or not I say the name... Its Wes Roemer.

Speaking of knowing major leaguers Ryan Perry went to my HS and graduated a year after I did. I think my friend from HS Tommy got drafted in one of the later rds (Upper 40s or whatever, I stop paying attention after the 10th)

Had a close family friend that with a NRI with the D-backs for the past two seasons, but he is now pursuing his options with another franchise.

I love seeing the NRI list come out because I pay careful attention these guys in the Spring, I want to see how bad they want to be in The Show.

I don't know where this should go.

http://www.mlbtraderumors.com/2010/02/dbacks-notes-.html

I linked to MLBTR because it has a link to both Gilbert's interview with Kendrick and Jim's interview with Byrnes. Congrats to Mr. Mclennan for getting another interview with JB, by the way.

Nomar is widely expected to retire accoring to MLBTR.

Would we rather have him on the bench - or abreu/ojeda?

No mah Nomah.
Definitely Abreu/Ojeda. Nomah can't play SS anymore.
