Carosel by Adam Berg. A continuous video of one moment. And it has evil clowns.

Ron Burgundy lives. New York news anchor Ernie Anastos messes up an old TV ad tagline. The correct lines are, "It takes a tough man to make a tender chicken" and "Keep plucking that chicken."

"Hot chicks play 'Toxicity' by System of a Down on electric violins"

Cool! I wish I had a hundredth as much musical talent as these ladies.

Not sure if this is cool, creepy, fascinating, or what.

Ever Dream This Man?

Quote:
From January 2006 until today, at least 2000 people have claimed they have seen this man in their dreams, in many cities all over the world: Los Angeles, Berlin, Sao Paulo, Tehran, Beijing, Rome, Barcelona, Stockholm, Paris, New Dehli, Moskow etc.

At the moment there is no ascertained relation or common trait among the people that have dreamed of seeing this man. Moreover, no living man has ever been recognized as resembling the man of the portrait by the people who have seen this man in their dreams.

Sorry to burst the bubble on this one, but it looks like its a bit of viral marketing. Not sure quite what for, but a WHOIS search on the domain reveals it's owned by Andrea Natelia who is apparently:
Quote:
the creative director of guerrigliamarketing.it, sociologist and journalist investigating youth culture and media communication, and a writer for TV programs about magic. Using a variety of pseudonyms, he has published essays on UFO"s, extreme sex and the art of sabotage. In 1995 he was known as Luther Blissett. Founded in Italy in 2003 guerrigliamarketing.it, is an advertising agency that uses non-conventional communication techniques, like the creation of fictitious events or campaigns reaching the limits of legality.

Way to keep us on our toes, Jim! I did a quick search to try to verify it, and didn't find anything. I didn't think to try a WHOIS search.

The interesting thing is, people now will dream about him, as he's part of their consciousness. It's almost a self-fulfilling Internet meme.

My original thought was that the face was probably made up of elements that are so common in male faces that it might reflect a generic image conjured up by the subconscious. There has been some research done on that, so it wouldn't be completely surprising if something like this was actually happening.
