I like it, he has been a heck of a good pickup and I'm glad he's coming back for another go.

Congrats to the Hawks. I watched the game last night, but had to leave before the OT so I just now watched it. Leighten really really sucks. I laughed at the Flyers, CHI just scored and they are all like waiting for the faceoff or something lol.

Great month for Chicago hockey fans, 1st they find out they have a local team, next they win the Cup

Lived there for 11 years and literally knew 1 person who went to games regularly. Only time the UC was anywhere near capacity was for Wings' game because of all of us Michigan transplants.

Seems like he died suddenly and right before his wedding too. Sad RIP.

Tonight is the start of the 2010 NHL Draft from Staples Center. The NHL Draft is always good for a couple big trades, and lots of board movement. Phoenix is known for having some pretty good drafts, and I'm hearing they'd like to use their 2 first rounders to move up.

We will have to keep an ear to the ground on that front.

Also good news hearing Wolski has resigned. Now they just to bring back Stempniak and Zbynek. Then they can focus on Free Agency...if there is any money left that is..

The Coyotes have selected defenseman Brandon Gormley with the 13th overall pick of the 2010 NHL Entry Draft.

Many experts are saying this is a steal at 13, lots of Mock drafts and NHL teams had him rated as the 2nd best defenseman in the draft, and a top 5 pick. For him to fall all the way to 13 is awesome, and with our already really talented core of defenseman I can see the Yotes having one of the best defenses in the NHL for a long time.

Yea bittersweet, I was a big Z fan, so kind of ticked to see him to go to Sidneyland in Pitts. But it's good to bring back D-Mo who comes at a good price, and will help mentor our very talented young defensive prospects in OEL, Goncharov, Gormley, Summers, and Ahnelov.

Coyotes sign veteran left winger Ray Whitney to a 2 year deal worth 6 mil. Maybe this is the end of our time with Lombo and Stemp, still a good signing tho.

Coyotes fans are still waiting for an owner...Some say the IEH deal is struggling, and IEH says their is no problem with the deal and they are excited to get it completed. I say in the next 3-4 weeks we will finally know wth is going on.

Interesting to see Lee Stempniak still on the FA market. Coyotes are cash strapped by their budget, but have plenty of room under the salary cap. Maybe once the ownership situation is cleared up (if that will ever happen), they would consider bringing back Stemp.

I was disappointed that Lombardi went to Nashville, I hope Whitney can replace at least some of Lombardi. At this stage in his career, I had reservations on Whitney being a line 1 center, though... I actually thought Bryz was a RFA, but I guess not. After having watched the coyotes have their best season ever, this Dbacks season can't end soon enough. This is the first time I have ever looked forward to hockey season in July (even 2004).
