Oh I understand the trade up concept but just no way it happens.

A healthy Bradford is too good and I cant see the Cards getting ahead of the Skins or Seahawks to get him.

Another Cards story other than Kurt in the news today Laughing

he should fall to 4 and if that is the case you can move up, i would love to see seattle move up (they have 2 1st rounders) to that spot and take him, hasselback best days are far behind him and maybe petey wants a new start....

could i be that lucky?

Thanks for the link, TAP.

My pleasure. I'll be on the road at that time and will have to catch it by radio. Thanks for the memories Kurt.

Here's hoping that his prayer was truly answered, and he doesn't follow the Brett Favre retirement playbook.

I'd don't think he will...

Hence why I said "trade up."
According to ESPN, Tebow is quickly becoming garbage (in my own words).

Yes, but holy garbage

Retirement for the financially sound can translate to self-indulgence, or it can take a philanthropic turn. Think of Kurt Warner choosing the latter approach and then multiply it by 10.

Only on AZCentral can somebody see a story about Kurt's charity and still find something to piss and moan about. That site sucks.

In signing undersized defensive end Stevie Baggs – who tied for the CFL lead in sacks with 12 while playing for Saskatchewan this season – to a one-year contract Wednesday, the Cards have made the first step in trying to rebuild an aging linebacking corps.

At 6-foot-1 and 245 pounds, Baggs could fit with the Cards’ 3-4 alignment. With Bertrand Berry’s retirement and the unlikely return of free agent Chike Okeafor, the Cards need outside pass rushing candidates. They also need linebackers overall, with the possibility inside man Karlos Dansby could leave as a free agent.

The Cardinals were interested in CFL pass-rushing star Cameron Wake a season ago, bringing Wake in for a tryout before Wake eventually signed in Miami.

This time, they signed Baggs, 28, a Florida native who played his college ball at Bethune-Cookman before fashioning a journeyman’s football résumé with stops in NFL Europe, the Arena Football League and the practice squad of the Detroit Lions. He spent time with the Edmonton and Winnipeg franchises before signing with Saskatchewan last winter (the CFL plays in the summer) and having a breakout season.

Good deal. I was tired of seeing Q. Same thing every year. Trade rumors, whining about contract, declining play, get hurt. Excited to see Breaston and Doucet move up.

Use those picks to fill holes in the D.

So Warner is gone, Boldin is gone, Dansby is now gone, and Rolle is most likely gone...we have work to do.

Yeah- but I don't think we're back to the cellar... that is, not yet.
Warner will be missed, but the offensive style will change and we'll be more of a running/short passing team.
Boldin is gone, but we have so much WR depth that it won't hurt much.
I don't know how we'll replace Dansby and Rolle. This is what really scares me. The defense that looked so good at the start of the year was just ripped apart in the playoffs. But I have faith that we'll draft some good players to fill the holes.

About our changing offense, although the vertical passing attack is fun to watch, I'm excited to see a more ball-control oriented style.
