Randy Wolf pitched 7 shut out innings of 1 hit ball and the SD pen closed it out in scoreless fashion.

A 5th inning 6 spot was the only Padres scoring for the night.

I like extra innings better if you can swing that...it's not that much more. But, you can't go wrong either way....I HAVE THEM BOTH.

I think I have problems. Embarassed

I was really impressed with it as well. How much does that thing cost anyway? Can you watch any game, any team, or do you just pay to watch 1 team and no others?

Padres have scored the 2nd fewest runs in all of baseball = 47
They are just behind the Giants (48 ) and ahead of the Rockies (46)

And check out the leaders

Life is good

Colorado near the bottom in pitching and dead last in runs scored. Very interesting. Arizona seems to be the only balanced team at this point (yes, it's still early)...let's hope it continues. I'm optimistic.

You can watch any team, any time-- unless they are local. But there are archives of games incl. local. It's $14.95/month unless you want the Premium package which is $19.95/month and includes 800K and 1.2K streaming and includes the Mosaic.

Here's the info.

Germano starts for the Pads tonight and has been lights out, to bad the Pads can't give him any run support, lets hope the rockhead's bats wake up tonight and give the Pads a much needed loss

Wait, Lev. I don't understand how we could have scored more runs than the Angels and the Blue Jays when we have a lower batting average. Do you mean to tell me there are more telling statistics than avg? Laughing

Scoreless tie in San Diego, bottom of the 10th. Padres just got their first baserunner since the 2nd inning on a Khalil Green single, who is then forced out at 2nd.

Peavy threw 8 scoreless, k'd 11.

Francis threw 7 scoreless, 3 hits, 7 K's.

Our offense sucks! If it wasn't for our pitching, we'll be worst than the Royals. Actually the Royals are better than the Padres offensively.

I was just giving you shit Razz I have a sarcastic sense of humor. It doesnt come out much here, but on my board it does Wink

Somehow I cant hate any team that Maddux is on, so youre alright in my book lol Razz

edit- and yeah i agree the fans in san diego and in arizona are pretty much the more classy fans in the division. Sucks to be in the nl east though, with DC, NY and Philly Shocked

Welcome. Stay around. And don't pay any attention to me.

Also, the link in your signature is busted

Here's hoping the Padres and Rockies play 27 innings tonight
