It also lists Jared Ball who has been released, Josh Ford who has undergone elbow surgery, and Leshyan Septimo who has been converted to pitcher.

And you have Leshyan Septimo spelled wrong, as his real name is Leyson. And Leyson hasn't pitched even one inning in pro ball (outside of instructs).

I don't understand why people get their panties in a bunch when a website that isn't devoted to the Dbacks has messed up the details of a couple of guys who are non-prospects at best and irrelevant at worst...

Actually - I thought it a pretty interesting site; of course you don't know how long it was/is in a "initial build" mode. I did think it interesting that Parra wasn't mentioned (yes, that came from Ncaldback - who got smacked earlier re: same player); so an updates need to be considered. BTW, Parra just received an non-roster invite to ST.

CarGo is the next Bok Choi, according to folks in your neck of the woods?

Not sure who Bok Choi is, but I just think CarGo's BB/K ratio, declining power #s, and inability to hitting lefties will prohibit him from being a star. That said, I still think he'll be a good player... just not an All Star or anything like that.

Well, now that CarGo is in Oakland, I can always jump off his bandwagon if he doesn't pan out

I tried to trade for Barton in my roto league.

I offered Ty Wigginton and Geoff Jenkins.

Laugh,....but Wiggy has 2b,3b, & 1b eligibility, has averaged 23 HR and 73 RBI the last two seasons, is going to play every day at 3b for the Astros...and this is a daily transaction league, which means that guys with position flexibility are that much more valuable.

And of course Jenkins, while declining, is going to a band box that is going to play to his power strength. Again, being a daily transaction league, (and we have deep benches) a guy like Jenkins has value. You just sit him whenever Philly faces a lefty, and watch him mash 25 homers against righties.

I offered all this for Barton.

I got turned down.

I offered to throw in Kyle Kendrick, who had a nice year for Philly last year. Still got turned down.

Well, our league added OPS as a category, and I think Barton will put up a pretty good one.
