Immediately thought of you when I saw the KU-Nebraska score.

Great achievement, and I'm especially glad to see Huskers go down... especially considering how here in Phoenix you "can" tune in to all the fricking Nebraska football games... but... can NOT get MLB playoff games (including the WS) on radio.

Thought I might bring this back to UA vs. ASU subject, guys. Wink

UA's Lute Olson is taking a leave of absence. I've heard that it is not health related, but the details are still coming out as I write this.

Link

As a person and a Wildcat, I hope that everything with his family is ok.

They interviewed Lute during the Wildcats game yesterday and I was surprised at how aged he looked and acted. I'm thinking his days may be numbered as a coach - just an un-related observation.

Lute certainly hasn't liked questions about his retirement over the past year. He's gettin up there in age, but is still one of the best. I hope everything is okay with him

ASU dropped to 9th in the BCS standings

The computer still ranks them 5th best, so they're still in great shape to make the Rose Bowl - but they have to win out. Oregon is now 3rd and USC is 17th (the computer hates them).

where did KU come into a asu vs uofa thread

Na, but I don't think you want a Big XII thread either...not with the DBacks drafting every MIZZOU baseball player they can get their hands on right now, and how the Chicken Hawks haven't played anyone decent yet.

How bout you update that case to be a MOO emblem instead of a Giants one?
It'd be easy as you wouldn't have to change the amount of trophies in there.

Muck Fizzou!!

Big comeback win for ASU today, UCLA is tough at home.

Now if voters can get their head out of their ass and realize that Oregon is the best team in the country we can start thinking Rose Bowl.

gotta beat USC first though.

It WAS a good win. Road wins in cali are nothing to shake a stick at. THey have to play better to beat SC though.

That roughing the passer call at the end of the 1st half was big. It resulted in the 'devils scoring 3 before the half on a long field goal.

Sweet!

yea, it was. One of the rare times during the game that ASU took advantage of UCLA mistakes.

After that Keegan Herring fumble, ASU looked terrible though. Qudjy's absolutely right, gotta play better at home if they want to beat USC.

My old college team did what they could to help ASU cause.... Can't remember the last time the Illini beat Ohio State (or any #1 ranked team) in football.

In college football, any road victory is going to be tough.

Beating Cal, BYU, and giving ASU a tough game at home compared to losing to Utah, Arizona, and Washington State on the road is pretty indicative that UCLA is tough to play at home for a bad team.

ASU finishes its road schedule. The remaining two homes games are going to be tough, but 11-1 is still a real possibility. That would net either the Rose Bowl or Fiesta Bowl, probably.

I pray that you are right. That result would lead to three good outcomes:

1. ASU back in control of its destiny for the Rose Bowl;
2. Stoops probably gets one more year to mess up the UofA program; and
3. ASU would get the chance to deprive UofA of bowl eligibility for the second straight year.

For tonight, I am a Cats fan. Bear Down. Twisted Evil

I'll agree to that, but you still have to beat SC and Arizona (flying high, baby!)

Not when he gets the best recruiting class the school has ever seen. Additionally, this offense is only just the beginning. It's only getting better.

We were bowl eligible last year. There were just too damn many other schools who were more eligible. Sad

New Polls...In my ridiculously biased opinion I think its bullshit. The Big East is total bullshit, and they have West Virginia THIRD????? Mizzou, Ohio State, and ASU should be in front of WVU.
