Since Diamondbacks baseball is over, and a quick mention of ASU sparked a bit of banter, figured I might as well get this thread started.

Here is some food for thought
1. Ohio State
2. South Florida
3. Boston College
4. LSU
5. Oklahoma
6. South Carolina
7. Kentucky
8. Arizona State
9. West Virginia
10. Oregon
.
.
.
.
81. Arizona

Lets go Devils.

Was at the Washington game and it was a very nice reprieve between Dbacks games.

That said, cannot wait for the Cal game...It should be very good

Maybe it's a premonition that this Elway will be more like Plummer?

Really good at ASU... but not-so-hotso in the NFL...

Very Happy

ASU ranked 4th in BCS

They still gotta beat USC to prove they are for real though.

They have some tough games left. Cal is still a good team, UCLA is tough in Pasadena, Oregon is going to be brutal, and SC, though not nearly as good as in years past, can still play. The UofA game is tough just because it is a rivalry game. I think Oregon is the toughest, and then UCLA because of where the game is going to be played, but ASU could easily lose 4 of its last 5.

more poo! Coop, i would try some of the team shops around Tempe. The campus corner on mill would be a good place, they don't sell that ON campus.

Honestly, i still don't think this team is for real. They've benefited from a backloaded schedule. If they beat Cal, then i'll start talking BCS. I also feel like the toughest game will be Oregon; but I am more confident than I've ever been about facing these big teams. under Koetter, we'd always cruise throught the first part of the schedule only to collapse against tougher Pac-10 schools.

Well I'd start a Big 12 thread, but Driaz is the only other one who'd participate I think and I doubt he wants to talk Cornhusker Football right now.

Howdy Dylan!

First and foremost, major props for the best avatar of all time on DBBP!! We should make that a sticky! Laughing Embarassed Seriously though, you need to go to the thread where folks were posting their Cubs suck and Rockies avatars and post that there for posterity's sake. Heck, ya got another one for posteriors sake?? Hell, why stop there, let's go for frontieriers sake while we're at it. Laughing

Yeah, I honestly think we are the only two Big 12 fans here. I know Shadow and a couple of others are Michigan fans, and we have North Carolina & NC State covered. Thankfully we don't have any obnoxious Big 12 south fans! Is it really college football season??? I'd have never known, and apparently my team doesn't either. Man, their defense just sucks worse than the best analogy Levski's able to come up with. I could easily see them losing out. Sad Crying or Very sad Evil or Very Mad

....oh wait, we got that scrub Kansas team coming up next week. Razz We on for another beer wager? This time I get the points and I'm still gonna end up buying you another beer. Mad

Kansas has had a fairly soft schedule, but undefeated is undefeated. I could easily see them going into the Misery game undefeated. That's something I've always wondered, but why isn't Kansas vs KSU any type of real rivalry? They almost always play within the first 3-4 weeks of conference play. Assuming they squeak past Nebraska, I'm hoping the Jayhawks put a whoopin' on Missouri and Oklahoma!!

Oh, and sadly, unlike UofA fans, I can't make the claim to look forward to basketball season. Laughing

But, but...but.....our women's volleyball is still a perenial powerhouse, and the baseball team has been pretty good lately.

Na, but I don't think you want a Big XII thread either...not with the DBacks drafting every MIZZOU baseball player they can get their hands on right now, and how the Chicken Hawks haven't played anyone decent yet.
