I would have suggested the genius known as Joss Whedon's Dollhouse, but FOX made a great call there. Talk about dooming a show from the get-go. Changing the marketing plan weeks before beginning to advertise the first season, giving it probably the worst possible prime time slot possible, then pulling the plug on Season 3 before the immense brain twister of Season 2's conclusion could pan out.

Anyhow, off the soap box I step. As far as Drama/Thriller shows go, I'm currently watching FlashForward and V, the former of which has absolutely terrible acting, and the latter is a prime example of the herky-jerky tempo a show finding its legs can have.

I've heard from many of my friends who watch the same junk I do that Southland is absolutely killer. If you're a 24 fan, you should definitely check that out, especially now that TNT picked it up. From what little I've seen of it, it rocks.

I do watch Breaking Bad as well. It's been so long since the last season I forgot, but it starts up later this month.

Wow, freaking wow! Shocked Shocked Shocked

Spoiler: Don't read if you haven't seen the last 2-3 episodes.

Best damn episode of 24 in a long time, if not ever. Actually the past couple hours they have the total shock and just amazing drama captured that forever fans of 24 just love and they've created a politcal twist that I think has the potential to really work. I think that's one of the reasons I haven't been as happy with 24 the last couple seasons is that they haven't really kept up the level of political intrigue that goes along with the show.

Back to back silent clock endings and just great drama. Jack "gets" the girl on camera during the 24 hour crisis and loses her. I really just didn't think they would do that to him again. Memo to females: Falling in love with Jack Bauer is extremely hazardous to your health. You will either be shot to death or lose your sanity from being tortured by the Chinese.

Chloe in charge of CTU! Shocked I was really starting to like Hastings. Mrs. Hassan accepting the job of trying to get the support of her government to make her President to sign the peace accord after the same political dissidents successfully just murdered her husband. Shocked Major Girl Power!!!! Well, aside from the ending....

Finish strong 24, finish strong. The past 3 hours have been great!

That was one of the coolest things I've ever seen on a network TV show. I won't elaborate for fear of spoiling. It's bears repeating... Don't ever fuck with Jack Bauer!

I am loving this season. I am glad it is going away though. It has run its course. I look forward to some movies.

From what I have read it is already written and ready to go. I believe it takes place in London.

The Black Knight

I loved aftermath of the slaughter. Epic carnage topped off with a fire poker in the guy's stomach.

I've watched every episode. The show has had some pretty bad moments over the last few years, IMO, but overall it's been a great series. For the first couple of years it was the best thing on TV. I've slapped my forehead plenty this season as well, but it's finishing strong and it should wrap up very nicely. It's time for the show to end, but I'm glad they never pulled the trigger (so to speak) on actually killing off Jack. I'll be looking forward to the movie(s).

I watched all of Lost too, which ended last night. Same sentiments for that show. Two great shows ending on back to back nights - hopefully, for me, it means I'll watch less TV. Somehow I doubt it.

I can't wait to see what happens. I love this show and I'll miss it but it has run its course. It's really hard to keep fresh plots going for 8 seasons.

The whole Dana plotline was really frustrating for me but once it came out that she was planted by the Russian govt then it all made sense. I really wish they had left out the whole thing with her loser boyfriend and the parole officer.

I'm looking forward to the possibility of a movie that ties in with the show.

I never watched Lost but I'll get around to Netflixing it.

Okay, Dana killed that parole officer and stuffed his dead body in the wall at CTU. Shouldn't it be starting to stink by now? Did I miss an episode where somebody found him, or is he still rotting there?

It's been less than 12 hours, would a corpse get smelly that quickly? I figured it would be at least a couple days till he started to smell.

I guess you're right. While it's been weeks for us, each week is only an hour for the show.
