Really? Why?? I would rather have him in the Majors than Crosby. Maybe this team needs to ask Don Maloney how to make decent trades. Rolling Eyes

Ciriaco has a sub 280 OBP in AAA. IN Reno.

Its a weird trade - i will admit - but potentially, we get back a pretty good pen arm out of snyder. What did you think were were going to get back?

Colt, I know Snyder didn't have much value. I just don't ge giving up ciriaco for crosby. They both suck.

Becuase Snyder and his big contract dont have much value on their own we had to include Ciriaco in order to get Carrasco who i think was the key to this deal for us. Besides like you said we arent loosing much in Ciriaco so i am not disappointed to see him included.

It sounds like getting Crosby and Church's money off the books was a key for the Pirates to take Snyder and that that was a key for the Dbacks to end up with Carrasco.

Don't sweat the small stuff. Neither Crosby nor Ciriaco are going to leave more than a small blip on the mlb radar.

If they both suck - who cares.

I wouldnt be shocked if Crosby is here if Laroche gets traded. Otherwise - he may never see a dbacks uni.

The one thing left is to see how much Cash PIT is getting. IF its all of Snyders salary - that might be wierd...

Ciriaco is easily replaced.

This isnt a trade to get upset over. Snyder has little value unfortunately. We turned him into a piece that may help us over the next two years in our weekest area - the pen.

Im ok with it.

Dont love it.

Salaries of Snyder for Crosby, Carrasco and Church are wash this year. AZ will pay $3 mill of the $6.5 Snyder is owed for remainder of deal

Crosby and Church are free agents who are not expected back in AZ next year. Carrasco is arb eligible next year and Dbacks likely to keep

Thats about right to me... I think we did OK.

Not a big impact trade here - but we get a piece that can help us in Carrasco.
