Zero zip nada. Never felt the need.

Have lots of friends who are Cops, Ex Cops, FBI and Military and every thanksgiving we go down to the ranch in Patagonia for a day of shooting.

They have all kinds of fun things including that rifle on the tripod that blows up boulders from like a mile away. Shocked

She's a badass. That black line was supposed to be an arrow pointing at spent cartridges and shotgun shells, but whatever.

Sort of hard to tell from the picture but neither gun she is holding appears to be a Glock. The one in her right hand looks to be a snub nose revolver of some sort and the one in her left hand looks like a Beretta 92F.

Guns are fine by themselves. It's the hand that holds it that scares the shit out of me.

That's the great thing about this country. Unless you're a convicted felon or mentally ill, you have a choice to own a gun or not.

Marksmanship competitions are just another sport. Really no different than bowling or golf in my opinion. Two of the primer competitive shooting organizations are The United States Practical Shooting Associations (USPSA) and International Practical Shooting Confederation (IPSC).

USPSA tends to be less about accuracy and more about speed. IPSC scores a shooter on both target area hit and speed. It's pretty fun stuff.

Interesting. Much too long to be an appeal to others.

I do agree with the pont though - and this is part of why i hate the buckets politics trys to put us in.

I am liberal on social stuff (Marriage rights, Abortion, Foreign Policy, Role of Religion in Government), and conservative on other things (Gun Rights, Economics, Taxes, etc).

That's the problem with a two-party system that forces its candidates to fit into a round hole or a square hole with its checklist of "acceptable" left items and right items.
