Added some new tunes onto the HOT 100 playlist on the IPOD today.

The new Gin Blossoms lead single "Miss Disarray" from their upcoming CD "No Chocolate Cake" It's not Doug Hopkins quality but still good sounding pop rock.

And two new songs from the upcoming Ryan Bingham CD Junky Star.

Fresh off his Crazy Heart award winning soundtrack this guy just blows me away.

Depression is the lead single and its strong but the song I got "Hallelujah" its just amazing. When I first got it I said like we really need another "Hallelujah" song out there but then I gave it a listen and said HELL YES!

T Bone again working his producing magic on this one.

I don't know if you guys have ever heard of a group called Hayseed Dixie. It's four extremely intelligent bluegrass musicians that originally started as an AC/DC bluegrass cover band. Over the last 10 or so years they've grown into an all-around rock and roll bluegrass cover band (that parodies the stereotypes of bluegrass in their music). Here's a few of their covers as a sample:

Highway to Hell

Bohemian Rhapsody

Black Dog

THANKS! That was great!

I always loved this bluegrass cover of Snoop Dog's 'Gin and Juice'.

I used to hear them on X Country quite a bit. I really miss that station.
