What is this comment supposed to convey? Or were you just making a 'general statement?' Confused

It's supposed to convey that he's just talking out of his ass and has no real argument other than to say, he sucks and should be fired. When that's the case, that's fine, but I won't waste my time trying to argue with actual facts.

I think Mike D'Antoni would agree with you. Alvin Gentry... meh, he's probably on the fench.

Or is you want baseball, Jim Tracy and Clint Hurdle.

Basketball is a team game. Baseball not so much. Yeah - there are a bunch of guys who have to do a job - but its islands of individual performances.

I love how Jim Tracy is a great coach now. Thanks for proving my point.

You had a point?

And even more confusing is you think it was confirmed. Confused
Yeah... all righty then...

Uh - yeah - that Managers get too much credit and too much blame.

So A.J. Hinch's 78-103 record in 181 games the Diamondbacks manager is irrelevant?

I think my point is that Managers get too much credit and too much blame for the W/L record. See Jim Tracy (and Joe Torre for that matter). Wink Laughing

You already said that. You might want to check the phonograph... I think it's skipping. Confused

Yeah, but I was looking for an answer. I wasn't shopping for a parrot. Thanks anyway.

Well the answer is that Managers get too much of the credit for wins and losses and too much of the blame.

I will keep saying it until you get it.

Nobody said that. I was addressing someone else's post. Thanks for your interjection, though.

This is a public forum, no? Are you implying I need to be invited to express my opinion on a topic being discussed here? Confused

So then why not get rid of him if his role on this team is irrelevant to their play and W/L?

It would make me happy, just knowing that someone in this organization is as upset as me about the product they are putting on the field.

I have been offered tickets for free and turned them down this season. I have attended over 20 games a year since the beginning, and you couldn't pay me to go out to Chase Field and watch this team.
