Arizona Cardinals update:

John Lott met with reporters today, and here are a few nuggets from the strength and conditioning coach, who is always entertaining.

On cornerback Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie's rehabilitation from knee surgery:

"When he started this program, he was down (in weight) because he had a little 'scope. He was 169 pounds and today he weighed 184. I'm really happy about that. He felt like he had a down year last year. I know he had a down year last year, and I'm looking for bigger things out of him."

On what he said to DRC when he showed up at 169 pounds:

"He looked like a stinkin' drug pusher. He looked like a racin' lizard. I told him, 'dude, we need to start eatin.' I'm telling you right now, DRC is focused on what he's trying to do. And I'm very, very encouraged by what I'm seeing, as is Kenny (Whisenhunt). We're both like, 'man, this is what we saw in '08.' I'm not saying he wasn't (focused) in '09 but it's hard coming off that tournament run."

...

On Beanie Wells' losing weight before last season:

"Beanie's learning. Remember, he came in here almost 250. Came into camp at 224 pounds, had to sit all the that time and he let his weight kind of get back and he played in the lower 30s. Understand, he was playing at some point at Ohio State at 250. That was just too big. I tell him all the time, this isn't a pie-eating contest. If you get caught one time from behind here, you're labeled."

He'd be a perfect fit for the Jets, they've already rounded up most convicts and drug users in the league, might as well add in a few rapists...

Anyone with any draft suggestions at #26? Jerry Hughes from TCU would be my selection if he is available. I've heard names like Sergio Kindle (Texas), Sean Witherspoon (Mizzou), Kyle Wilson (Boise State), Brandon Graham (Michigan), Brian Price (UCLA) passed around too.

Jets got
1) RB that is old as shit
2) CB that does not how to us a rubber
3) WR that smokes weed (alot) and throws glasses at woman
4) HC got belly wrapped
jets better win... you win it is "attitude" (1970's Raiders) you lose it is a bunch convicts (2007-2008 Bungles)

better tune into HBO hard knockes.... that will be good TV

I can see the 49ers going fo Big Ben seeing as they have a glaring need there and they have two first rounders to play with this year. Im thinking that the Steelers want rid of BB now and a friend of mine who lives in PA said that he was unpopular there fore a while so it might be their best chance to get rid of him. Personally i dont want the Cards to go after him, he would bring a lot of baggage with him and we could do with another sideshow of a QB. We already have Leinart and the Nick Lachey Hot Tub fraternity as our starting QB show.

Im looking forward to the draft tonight as i get to watch it this year ESPN showing it over here. Bit disappointing its just the first round but i guess NFL is looking to get ratings over three days.

I assume most here will be watching it too with no Dbacks game or are you guys watching gonna be watching the Suns game?

Those will look cool with the roof open on night games. Too bad it makes my limited edition black Fitz super bowl jersey obsolete...

This is what I thought when I first saw the jerseys. They're pretty badass nonetheless.
