Favre to sign a 2 year deal with Minnesota.

Favre Signing with 'Sota

I think the Vikings are crazy to sign him. He's not the same player anymore and he's going to throw some burtal interceptions in an important game come December.

He signed because the SOB knows I'm in Minnesota! This blows, but oh well.

I debated putting it in the NFL thread, but since this is more Packers oriented I put it here. At least you can take some solace in that Eli "I wish I was 1/100th of my brother!" Manning sucked ass this weekend and the Giants arent in the playoffs.

brett still does not know if he wants to get ankle surgery, he claims he has not figured out what he wants to do...

My prediction.... he plays, get surgery so he is only in camp for about 10 dyas before the first game....

FaRve made a bet

Quote:
Forget about the Twins. Vikings fans should start rooting for the Southern Miss baseball team. That's if they want a sure-fire way to see Brett Favre in uniform next season.

While most people already expect Favre to return for his 20th season, Favre reportedly made a little wager on it when he visited the Southern Miss baseball team on Thursday, according to Al Jones of the Biloxi Sun Herald.

According to Jones, Favre, after meeting with the team, was asked by one of the players if he's going to play next season.

"I was a kid again watching y'all play in the College World Series,’’ Favre said. ’’That was amazing. I don’t know — yet.’’
Favre paused and then said to the player: "Let’s make a (fun) bet. If you guys go back to the College World Series this year — I will come back and play. How about that? You go back and I go back.’’

Jones wrote that Favre repeated the bet before he left.

He wouldn't be leaning towards retirement and then make that kind of statement. He knows he's coming back and so do the Vikings.
